Apathy hasn't set in for football because too many people are pissed off for it to be apathy.
Really Clark?

Yep agree and that is a good thing. Kinda like a bad marriage, if the fighting ever stops its over. Fighting thru stuff is a good thing.
I'll be there Saturday and I expect to see us stomp a mudhole in Umass. Hope our staff and team respond accordingly.
One thing I want to see from Lebby and maybe it isn't his personality and that is fine but I'd like to see a little fire for his team. I'd been thrown out last Sat after those overturned TDs.

I said basically same thing years ago when Mullen would stand on the sideline in critical situations of the game with a blank stare, then same from Moorhead, same with Arnett when he was head coach. Leech occasionally would get riled up. When I said I believed with needed a coach with some fire I was crucified. People jumped all over me for suggesting we have a coach that actually displays some fire. Sorta like Arnett when he was D coordinator.

Sad, but funny in a morbid way.

I wish UMass would blow us out, If it forced Lebby to finally start to get our problems fixed

It?s definitely apathy. But I think it?s apathy for the whole sport. I mean we do suck and we did have a tragedy but if anyone thinks we will ever compete with Texas bama and all them when it is pay for play you might as well find something else to be invested in

I agree. Apathy had set in for me, but now I find myself pissed off about the whole situation.

Please don?t banish me oh wise and great elitedawg leader. Im sorry, Not my fault we suck and we dont have the money to pay mercenaries like Texas and Alabama do. Not sure why I should have to 17 off for that but hey man whatever gets you through it. Just know, I will never get so upset over your opinion

I'm tired of being angry at MSU football and I want to see some actual changes. I think that speaks for most of the fan base.

Apathy has set in for me but I've still been to every home game and I'm going Saturday. I'm not sure what defines that? High pain tolerance?

Hats off to you. Just no way I can make myself sit through an MSU game right now. I didn't even listen to it Saturday. I was actually able to enjoy my day, pretending football does not exist.

It ain't just about the money. Yeah Vandy has emptied the bank to have a good team this year and Auburn didn't spend any to have a losing record. If it was, then we might as well go home.

There every game this year as usual. Numb, but not comfortable at all. As with some bad years past: Stop in Fulton at Walmart to buy some snacks in route to the "game". Have 6 extra season tickets in Section 4 as most family has given up. Leave tickets on dash with car running and window down with $20 beside the tickets. Everything still there along with a business card for a good therapist now on the dash!****. Seriously, I never thought we would be this bad in my State lifetime again.

Man oh man, it's been a long time, if ever, I've seen so many pissed off State fans. They're finally fed up with the BS the school leadership has handed us for years. John Cohen set us back close to a decade and we've got Silent Bob running things now, with Howdy Doodie heading up the whole show. Looks like everybody in leadership is looking to get out.
