Matt Zenitz, national 247 guy, is saying that Craver is out this weekend. I imagine that means he'll be out next week as well when we play UMASS. Could be a great opportunity for Burnside to step up. Also might be a chance for us to have a Jaden Walley sighting.

Glad it’s a weekend and not the year.

Jaden Walley had over 140 receptions his first 3 years. And only 5 his last 2, with none this year. Never seen someone disappear like that

I mean part of it was he was a typical Leach receiver. He was never going to blow by anyone with speed but he could run good enough routes for that system, which has simplistic routes, but the last two schemes(if you want to consider last year an actual offensive scheme) have required receivers to have the ability to get open. Walley has never been that. The scheme got him open under Leach.

I think that injury changed him. He was pretty explosive his freshman year.

Lebby said in his presser Monday that Stonka was going to get more reps in practice this week. He said he was already stepping it up in practice before Craver was injured.

Any word on JJ Harrell? How's he doing on scout team, etc?

He's behind the others due to an injury and just needing to get up to speed at this level. We always knew it'd probably be at least a year on him. He's been doing better though.

Antonio Harmon is one I'm surprised I haven't heard more about. I remember people being pretty excited about him.

He's a tweener. Not fast enough to be a WR, but not big enough to be a TE

Walley is as good as he ever was for one play. Then he needs about 4-5 to get back up to it. The injury and a bad surgery changed him.

This is correct. It's sad and unfortunate what happened to him. He had a bright future but that injury and the surgery messed him up.

The injury and a surgery that didnt work made him disappear. I had the same injury and a year and a half later i have trouble walking over uneven ground without it biting me. Range of motion and flexibility also not the same. He had a bright future but sometimes stuff happens. I hate because Jaden played baseball for me when he was a teenager

Talus fracture.

Wishing the best for you Cc24! Injuries are hard to overcome sometimes! Lord knows, I had numerous injuries from my football days! My mother use to tell me she wished I wouldn't play football, I loved all sports and played all. I would say I was very athletic but that would sound cocky and arrogant** LOL

Oh my, that's a serious injury. Hate to hear that 24. Prayers for continued healing and comfort.
