Does our OL coach suck or were we feed a bunch of BS hype with these OL transfers? This OL is horrible and I'm surprised MVB is doing as good as he is behind them

Well you just can't throw a OL together. It takes more than 5 games for them to learm how to work together. And also except for Reese where did these guys come from??

Kennedy was a horrible hire. Definitely a head scratcher. His OLine at Ark last year was awful, but besides the OL we are improving. Our defense is more a talent issue. Our OL is more a Kennedy issue

The OL starters were former SEC backups and former small tiered college starters. They're playing exactly to that mold.

Play with leftovers and you get leftover results. Recruiting this cycle will be interesting to notice now that this staff has been here for a year.

Don't consider myself a guru, but as is usually the case, it's a little from Column A and a little from Column B. We don't have enough SEC talent on the OL, which is the biggest problem. Can't turn chicken poo into chicken salad. But Kennedy isn't really maximizing the talent he does have. We're playing better, but this group isn't good enough to really move the ball on even average SEC defenses. You gotta figure you need a minimum of 35 points to win most games now. We're maxing out around 28 because too many of our drives stall due to poor OL play or drops by our receivers.

The fact that we are in games against top 15 teams with a complete lack of talent up front on both sides of the ball is actually surprising. Good for Lebby.
