The no quit today was refreshing. The fight we had was euphoric. Especially scoring a touchdown late that meant something while being a huge dog on the road. I hope we can continue going full tilt and win a conference game or two. I hope we can get a lot more butts in the seats for the next two. We owe'em. Hailstate!

Hutzler is trying his ass off. We are so depleted on the line. Despite the stats, our coverage was better today. Big plays are going to happen regardless of who's DC.

Secondary and lbs are actually playing ok. Our dl just gets zero push or zero pass rush which hurts the back 7 bad. We are however hustling and running to the ball and tackling better. Had a lot of tfl today.

Less arm tackling also. Defense has no depth. They battled in the 4th but you can tell they are gassed.

That's a big issue as well. They're fighting hard but that 4th quarter is rough with so little depth. Did almost have a nice goal line stand at the end though and had the 4th down play stopped just couldn't get him down(being gassed effect).

I didn?t like Hutzler ant first, but paid attention today. He?s better than the Bama DC. He has ZERO dl talent. But we play hard and we tackle better and better.

Deboer won?t make it unless he gets back to a mor lunch pail/blue collar mentality like Saban had. They are soft, especially on D.

Lebby and Hutzler will if they can maintain the desire and bring in more talent on the LOS.

They were never going to replace Saban. I'm just glad I'm not the guy replacing him. Saban had plenty of prima donnas on the team it's just that they feared him and respected him. He could make or ruin someone's career with a phone call.

The improvement over the last two games is impressive. But, I don't totally buy it's Hutzler. However, if we continue to improve on defense every game then I'm not opposed to keeping Hutzler unless a top notch DC comes on the market in December and shows a lot of interest in us.

That last Ga. touchdown should have been nullified and flagged. The Ga. bigs pulled their running back into the end zone which is I thought was illegal. Can push a player carrying the ball but can NOT PULL him forward.

Same here. They are fighting and I can't ask for much more right now. My family and I will be there Friday night for the Juntion Jam and the football game Saturday. Looking forward to it.

Hutzler has adjusted his scheme and that is what is impressive. Our talent was bad AND the scheme was bad the first 4 games. The last two, the scheme has been better. Talent still is not there, but we are in position a lot more than we were. Receivers are not running scott free up the seam and backs do not have holes that you can drive a semi through anymore.

There is still a ton of open space on crossing routes because we are having to play zone due to having very little talent or depth in the back end, but we have condensed the space.
