He was so good at Arkansas with Kendal Briles. I just wonder if Briles knew exactly how to use him. I honestly thought he would do really well with Malzahn.

I thought he was overrated even at Arkansas.

At the same time for many of our fans he is their ideal MSU QB.

Maybe but we don’t run Danny Two Gloves offense. Running a different offense to cover up a QBs inefficencies can be good for a while but if you have a passer that can’t hit the board side of a barn, teams will shut that crap down quick.

Just like the other day when we had someone clamoring for the triple option. That would be a program killer for us. You basically turn away from recruiting skill players outside running backs and you have a QB that has a stat line of 5-15 for 45 yards passing. That doesn’t work in the SEC or BIG.

He was extremely overrated!!! He was the reason we had a chance to beat them when he was there.
