Nice to have a week where I didn't have to watch our defense give up 500 yds to someone, but we're back this week and I feel pretty confident Georgia will roll up 500 yds and Carson Beck will look like the consensus No. 1 pick. Winning Dogs 41- Losing Dawgs 17. But we cover!!!

MVB Pass Yds- 165
Team Rush Yds- 185
Carson Beck Pass TDs-4

I haven't been all to impressed with Georgia these past two weeks. It means nothing but it says a lot that Georgia lost to Bama, then Bama turns around and loses to Vandy. Georgia should have throttled Auburn, and they didn't. Both Auburn and us have the same issues, and I am pretty impressed with how we played at Texas, not saying we win. But I wouldn't be surprised if it's 4 quarter game and we have a chance. I hope we made major strides these past two weeks.

31-28 dogs... you pick.

one bye week and you've forgotten the entire season to this point. We are going to get drilled.

I think it will be similar to how the UGA/Auburn game went I am thinking UGA41 State 14

Lebby did a very good job with the gameplan vs Texas. Scaled it down for the freshman and he knew what to do. Should be another

That said- we gonna get railed most likely. I wont bet it but dont see us within 30

I think we're going to try to slow it down on offense and try to run clock and try to limit their possessions as much as we can because that's really the only way Georgia can't score on us. Against Texas I thought Lebby's play calling was really good for the situation.

Basically I'm expecting more of the same.

So you are saying UGA is just as good as Toledo?

I don't think State can score 17 against UGA defense. But UGA and Tennessee will be State's only blowout losses rest of the season.

I've seen this quote a lot the past two weeks and while I did like our gameplan offensively, we still gave up over 500 yds of offense and Arch had 2 TDs and 5 INCOMPLETIONS. I was glad we forced a couple of fumbles to prevent them from scoring 2 more TDs but we still didn't play good defensively. UGA will have their way with us offensively, we just have to slow the game down like we did against Texas and hope some of those drives that ended on 4th down or with a FG becomes a TD.

Not forgotten just ice creamed away. Like we all have said we expect this team to be better week in and week out. Teams regress or make great strides in a an off week. I'm going with great strides

Not discounting it, and that comment was for the whole team in general. But looking at defense, yes if Texas has a seasoned qb it would have been much different, but the intangibles were a lot better from the prior week. And I look for that to be the same, and if our d-coordinator figured out how to scheme JUST A LITTLE that would help this bunch out a lot.

We aren't going to play good defensively any this season, and it has nothing to do with the current coaching staff. It has everything to do with the previous defensive staff and their total lack of player development though. We wouldn't be good defensively if Nick Saban were running the defense. We don't have the horses to be good right now.

Talent wise, yes. Scheme wise it would be night and day different. Probably would have won two of our loses if we just schemed better on defense. Not to mention tackling.

I thought we would run less hurry up against Texas, but we didn't. Are there any reports saying that we may try this or is it your gut instinct?

The Buffalo Bulls are shutting out the Toledo team that dropped 41 on us. UGA by 50, hopefully not more...
