Was Zook the coach in the late '90s/early 2000s game? I remember it being a beautiful 55 degree day and State blew Florida off the field. I remember being on the west side, so it had to be before the eastside Club level opened.

That was still Spurrier. Zook was 04 after we had just lost to Maine the week before.

Pretty optimistic there on the Creed snaps. He'll show up randomly and make a big play then we won't see him the rest of the game.

This game being an SEC game has the potential to energize us so maybe we see some effort on defense. Otherwise I think Florida beats us comfortably and is praised by the media as having "found it's way with Napier."

Something like this. Doesn't matter if FL team checked out on Sunbelt Billy. They can show up from Tuscaloosa bus ride 5 minutes before kickoff and beat us handily on the talent difference alone. I doubt we have 5 players on our roster that could start for another SEC team at this time, including Vandy. Will be there hoping for a competent, competitive game, maybe even a miracle upset.
