Naw....can't say that I have. Only been outside of Clay County Mississippi on a handful of occasions. They got an EconoLodge there?

stayed at the hilton. yes it?s as crazy as you hear especially on the weekend. not in the US so very safe - just your normal pickpocket issues. the beach front walk is nice. of course you gotta run the gauntlet iykwim. don?t believe the noise ?.its obvious who is who- they don?t want trouble either.

the food!!!! love the food - try it all.

been there several times for work in the area of Map Tha Phut. It is wild and disconcerting if you are from a more traditional background. While waiting for your ride to work in the morning seeing many young women dressed in evening wear obvious ladies of the evening leaving the Marriott or other respectable hotels. You will be approached and possibly grabbed if walking on the street and propositioned for services, totally wild to this native Mississippian. There are traditional Thai theater shows where all of the transgender stuff is part of their historical culture, what appears to be a woman may not be. I know that the Germans go on bumpsen reisen (sex vacations) to Thailand and there is a lot of stuff that will make one shake their head. Be extremely careful with what you eat or drink getting sick there or other 3rd world countries is incredibly miserable. In a good hotel there will be bottled water at the bathroom sick for brushing your teeth, etc. No ice

The best thing that I have found in Bangkok or cities is really cheap custom tailor made suits and other clothing. In Bangkok the last time that I was there, in '17, the King had recently died and I was taken to the palace by a Thai friend. This is a great trip and worth the time.

if you like Thai, plan on going to Brazil, the women and clubs are excellent. For more traditional time, Hamburg, Germany and its Reeperbahn is cool.
