Same thing happened between YouTubeTV and ESPN a couple of years ago and I think Dish Network the year after that. Bottom line is it is going to happen with ESPN and every provider at some time or another.

Let me recommend an EGo battery powered chainsaw. I love mine.

I got DirecTV Stream in May just for the Braves, but after last night, I switched back to YouTubeTV.

The Braves sucking helped with this decision

I'd need multiple batteries for sure. Believe me, if it were as simple as cutting a tree down, I'd have it. To the north of my house, to get an unobstructed view, I'd probably have to spend $30,000 in tree removal

satellites are positioned above the equator. 7 you need to remove trees south of your home.

Yeah - we got a new local fiber company about a year ago. Dropped Comcrap's over priced internet and Directv. Saving $50 month on internet, and streaming every service I want and still paying less then DTv. I had Dtv since 2000 and they didn't even attempt to keep me. After AT&T bought them their customer service went to shit

I have a lot of ego yard equipment. Love it. Almost bought a chainsaw but no real use for it. I bought pole saw and hedger instead. Both great purchases.
I did have to replace a battery. Half the price on Amazon but wasn't sure how long it would last and didn't want my garage to catch fire so I spent the extra money and bought a legit one

look buy a metro by T-Mobile modem $50 unlimited use. it works all over the country for the most part. I took it on trips and had internet in my car at least 90% of the time. It will run off most cell towers at 5G ultra capacity. i would get between 50 -400 MB depending on where i was. I used You Tube TV. Had very little problems.
Used it at my house also in very Rual Arkansas.

You probably can't watch it on Roku either since they require that you have a subscription with your provider, and if DirecTV is in a squabble over contracts you'd no longer have a provider with ESPN. I suppose you can't watch tonights FSU/Boston College game either.

Contract disputes with local channels isn't a big deal since you can get them over the air with an antenna. But ESPN is different since they don't broadcast.

Great Stuff. We use a chainsaw, weed eater, and pushmower. Four batteries of various sizes but they all work for any of it. Never have to wait on things to re-charge. Just keep them cycling on the chargers and I can mow an acre plus without ever having to wait.

I paid for a month subscription of ESPN+ to watch the EKU game, but now i cant even use the app because of the Direct TV/ESPN crap.
What does the ESPN app have to do with DTV?
Like 7, spotty WIFI is the only reason I haven't dropped DTV, but if I have to pay for another steaming service for the ASU game this weekend....the DTV dish is out by the road on Sunday morning.

I was able to watch the LSU game on DTV, but thought about testing it last night when I couldnt watch the FSU game as ESPN+ app would not let me.
Oh and ESPN does not give refunds for the APP so I paid $11.46 for one game......

Same here except I'm going Hulu due to some extra nerd content. I'm only around 2.5 miles from campus but can't get anything but 4 County's Fast Net. I kept my DTV because I was wary of their fiber internet service but I've had it around a year and a half now and I've only had 1 outage which was taken care of in less than a day. It's time to flush DTV.

As I understand it, Disney has all of the ESPN stuff in its control, which seems crazy to me since that sounds like Disney is in a dispute with itself...Over this old head. I have held on to my ATT Uverse for tv for years, though ATT has tried to get folks to leave it and switch to Direct TV.

First time in all of the past disputes of any kind that I lost access to the ESPN family. Anyway, I added You Tube TV yesterday and at 84, it is taking me a little longer to learn to navigate it.

Direct's contractural squabble with ESPN won't last long since almost certainly a lot of people are dropping them nationwide. Chances are it'll all be resolved by the weekend.

Is Thursday night NFL only on Prime this year?

Just make sure to go with Hulu live and not just Hulu if you plan to buy that service. Hulu live shows live television and they do carry all the SEC Networks as well

ESPN + is a different animal. If the broadcast is listed on + it will not be on ESPN no matter who your carrier is. It is an extra service of ESPN.

Great comment! That's going to go over a lot of people's heads...

I've had ESPN+ for years and just cancelled and re-bundled with Hulu & Disney+ for $4 more dollars. Your comment reminded me that I have no legal right against Disney if I step foot on their property. Oh well, grateful my kids are older and that phase has come to an end.

I should have clarified. The on demand content has no adds. The live broadcasts have regularly scheduled commercials. I do think it’s better than satellite if you have reliable internet. I have EMEPA broadband. It is GREAT.
