5 (make that 6) predictions for this year in football:

1) state will be 100 spots or more better in total offense rankings. Last year we were 107.

2) defense will be top 50 in yards surrendered per play.

3) state has not had a wide receiver drafted since 1996. We will have a wide receiver drafted this year. (and we have a future day 1 wide receiver draft pick on campus)

4) state does not have a preseason sec. But we will end up with a 1st or 2nd team all sec selection (Seymour grande or Ethan miner)

5) state will win 6 and to to a bowl

6) shapen has been picked last in preseason sec qb rankings by pundits. He will outperform this. Somewhere along the way, he will be mentioned on a Herman watch list.

Either Ole Miss goes 10-2 and left out because of scheduling or they go 9-3. All these other contenders are playing big ooc P5's and OLe Miss is playing Wake Forrest. That is going to kill them in the committees eyes.
