There is a post by an Ole Miss fan on the Rant regarding what Moorhead said in his interview (requirements for our job are to go to a bowl and beat Ole Miss), where he states that many or most MSU fans would rather beat Ole Miss than go to the playoffs. So, would you rather:

1. Beat Ole Miss, but not go to the playoffs
2. Lose to Ole Miss, but go to the playoffs

Moorhead may be a nice guy but he is not a very good coach. And he is a yankee! He was so much a fish out of water here in the heart of the south. Also the “only” reason he had success imo was because of the NFL players he had at Penn State. This crap is ancient history.

Answer to the poll question. 2. Lose to ole miss and make the playoffs. Again imo the only thing that matters is playing for championship.

Anyone answering one needs their head examined. The ONLY thing that matters is the national championship.

Apparently Moorhead is wrong, since going 2-0 against Ole Miss (14-12 overall and bowls in both years) wasn't enough to save his job.

So, Pancho admits he made the wrong vote by mistake. That would make it 20-2 in favor of losing to Ole Miss, but making the playoffs.

Who are the 2 people that would rather beat Ole Miss than go to the playoffs? I have to believe those are Rebel trolls. If not, please explain yourself. Why would you rather have a season that includes beating Ole Miss (whatever our record may be) over having one that ends with us in the playoffs? That's insane to me. I really don't believe those people exist.
