Incase you all didn't know EA's Ncaa Football 25 came out today for early deluxe release orders, and I just wanted to share my thoughts on Mississippi State's representation in the game. Overall I think they did a great job! Davis Wade looks and sounds awesome in the game. The cowbells are ringing the entire game, although I do wish the volume of them could be a little louder, but the cowbell is represented very well. While on defense on 3rd downs, the loud bell plays as it does on gameday, so they nailed that. They also nailed the band cues after first downs and big plays. The maroon and white chant is in the game and happens occasionally during the game. There is no "Don't Stop Believing" at the beginning of the 4th quarter, and I didn't think there would be due to copyright reasons. However, Sandstorm and bits of Welcome to the Jungle are in the game and play during the game. I have not played with South Carolina yet, so I don't know if they got the full Sandstorm treatment that they usually do there. Uniforms wise State gets the script State logo on the helmet in both maroon and white versions as well as both maroon and white jerseys and pants, with an alternate grey pant as well, so you can use various combos. There is no flying M or retro interlocking MSU logo for the helmets though which is unfortunate. I played the Egg Bowl, and there is some commentary about the history of the rivalry throughout the game which I thought was cool. The cpu even plays Ole Miss's style to a T, all hurry up/up tempo/no huddle which I found annoying...and I think they even captured Lane's habits as they went for 2 at the end of the game to try and win rather than go to OT....but I made sure Dart got sacked and they took the L! One of my only gripes was they did not show the Egg Bowl Trophy during or at the end of the game or have the players carrying it like they have in previous editions. Another minor gripe was the big screens in the stadium do not display or show the gameplay occurring on the field as they have in the past, they just had the flying M and then the word Bulldogs keep cycling on the screen in maroon and white. Other than those things and the cowbells could be a little louder in volume, the feel of the game is great and I think Mississippi State's gameday atmosphere is really well represented. It's damn good to have this game back after all these years, and I believe its worth investing in a PS5 to play it if you don't already have one. For those that didn't want to pay $100 for the early deluxe edition, the regular $70 will come out on Friday. I haven't dove too much into Dynasty or Road to Glory much yet, but from what I've seen so far from others, both of those modes seem pretty legit and fun.

When I played our home bleachers were on the wrong side of the field. Also weird playing at Oklahoma and seeing the sec logo on their field. Times be a changing

There are supposed to be updates throughout the year to this game. This won?t be the final product. Hopefully, our people can contact EA to make any changes needed.

We sent the throwback jerseys/helmet to EA. I would expect we will see those in one of the first game updates.

In an interview with a developer he said they didn't make much effort to add songs that are specific to one team in one situation (Don't stop believing only for the 4th quarter at MSU, enter sandman just for VaTech, etc) just because the time/money it would take to negotiate licensing for a song to be used so rarely wasn't worth the squeeze. Sounds like it's a possibility for future editions

I’m going to the launch party at the Hump Thursday night. They are having a 32 person tournament you can enter and play against current student athletes and current NFL state athletes will be there to play the winners.

There are several teams missing uniforms in the game. really hoping they add more with the updates. Cool uniforms are the only reason some teams will get played with.

I have a feeling they'll be adding uniforms all year. This game was bound to have a few bugs and be missing things. For the most part though, it looks really solid. I'm waiting til the general release on Friday, but will probably be playing it a bunch this weekend.

I watched a youtube video showing the full roster and I was only familiar with a few of the names. Gameplay and presentation from what I've seen looks really good. I pre ordered so I'll get it Friday.

Why they dont have the egg bowl trophy on here but they have the little brown jug and Paul bunyans axe is just wild to me.
We all know how vicious that Minnesota and Michigan rivalry is

I don't ever play D in dynasty anyways. I just try to win shootouts.
