Le Choke. He sure in hell isn't Kobe, Jordan or Bird.

Any idea regarding the offensive production, short jumpers, spin moves, put-backs? Both stats very impressive.

He scored mostly in the post going one on one. A few of his makes were heavily contested as well. He looked pretty good, he was very active and rebounded well also, if he can continue this I wouldn't be shocked to see him make that team.

They're bad enough that he could make that team. That's all some of these guys need is just a chance to get consistent minutes. You put him on a team like the Pistons that are in full on tank mode and it could really help his development. I mean hell, look at Rooker in baseball. He finally started getting consistent ABs with a team that was in tank mode and he has an ASG appearance and should have had another this year.

Found a video of Tolu, at :47 he's guarding Reggie Perry, pretty cool seeing those two go against each other.

Just throwing out there, Rooker is in the top 10 for almost every hitting stat in the American league. He got screwed on the Allstar game.

But the point is that he needed a team to give him consistent ABs. He was up and down, up and down, up and down before he was traded to the As. Now he's one of the hottest trade pieces coming up to the deadline. He needed consistent ABs and not have the fear of being sent down at the first slump in his head.

That's all players need sometimes. I mean I think if Reggie Perry were to have gone to a team that was in tank now mode instead of the Nets and the Raptors then he would've been able to catch on in the league with a team and be a second group guy for a team. Unfortunately his NBA career consisted of G League stints with teams in win now mode and he's now in China.

That's probably my fault. I was trying to find an apt comparison for a player just needing minutes and since we have ZERO NBA history, I had to pivot to a sport we had history in at the professional level.

You must be a relatively young dog. ZERO NBA history. Have you never heard of Bailey Howell, Jeff Malone, Erick Dampier, Wiley Peck, and even Q has been up and down?*** We have history, not much recently.

So 4 players and 3 that had more than a cup of coffee. That's not history. Wichita St currently has more ACTIVE NBA players than that.

I mean San Francisco has no NBA history outside of basically Bill Russell, they also had Bill Cartwright who played on the Bulls. Just because they had Russell, one of the top 10 to ever play the game, no one thinks of them as having NBA history

You said "ZERO" history. We have a very limited history with very little recently. I am surprised at Tolu's play in the summer league, but that league is for rookies and undrafted free agents I think. I hope he makes the Pistons. You notice I had to go decades back to find real NBA success as in Howell, Malone & Dampier. Maybe things will change in the future under Jans. Hail State!

It's just tough for players to make the NBA and stick. I mean look how many great college players over the last 10-15 years have flamed out in the NBA. Jimmer Fredette, Trey Burke, Frank Kaminsky, Frank Mason, Luka Garza. And those guys were NAISMITH AWARD WINNERS that flamed out. It's tough to make the league and stick. You have to either be a super stud or have to accept a role. Most players aren't the first and refuse to do the second.

Very true, there are alot of talented College players who flame out in the NBA. Its a very tough league to make. You either have to have generational talent or be a top knotch role player that understands their role and is elite in that role. I hope to see Tolu and some of our other guys make it. Q had a nice little run in the NBA with the Spurs and Warriors also fairly recently
