Every Power Two head coach should at least have a goal of "still have a mathematical chance at making the playoffs on November 1." If you can't even have that as a goal preseason, what are you even doing paying out all the money for SEC/Big 10 football?

For Lebby this year, that requires him not to have a non-conference screwup, and to win at least 2 out of the home games against Florida, Texas A&M, and Arkansas. I don't know that we will do that, but Lebby better not dismiss the possibility as being obviously too unrealistic before the season starts.

11 years ago I watched an Auburn team that MAY have been as talented as us in 13 come within 90 seconds of a national championship after not winning an SEC game the year before. An offense that can stress the defense, like Lebby's can, is the ultimate equalizer if it is rolling

We're going to win some games and winning is the goal.
