Thats the good side of G5 now. But I cant imagine being a G5 HC and losing my best players every summer to the P4 programs

Good thing is, it's an easier sell to FR now. If I'm a kid with offers I check out G5 and P4. I visit as many schools as possible.

Seems that a solid player could invest in himself by playing at Samford, Kennesaw State, Mercer, Stetson, C of Charleston, or VCU.

You go Sun Belt with actual SEC offers not exercised, play two years, actually play. Then you can portal to a number of schools that actually want you or stay at the school that made you.

In soccer, many successful players played in Germany (Sun Belt of Soccer) as youngsters and then go to the top leagues fully developed (Erling Haaland, Jude Bellingham). Kids that never play, while being roster guys on English teams (SEC of Soccer) take a huge risk of never developing.

I would take my own kid West. Pepperdine. Catholic college in Malibu.

Church of Christ, not Catholic. I have a friend that told me at one point you could receive a pretty good scholorship if you were Church of Christ. I don't think they do that anymore though.
