??? Dalbec hit that HR in an early inning. Either his first or second AB. I don't think he hurt us down the stretch....although I have tried to block that game out of my head so I could be mixing up the details
I still say that HR is the furthest I ever saw hit at the Old Dude. Ball was still climbing going over the back of the LFL

It's a fun tournament to go to and it will be good exposure for the baseball team.
I think the games are on MLB Network or at least they have been in the past.

Well and it'll be a fun tourney to be at. I know I'll be there. Tennessee and A&M are the other SEC teams. Be interesting to see Rice, man how they have fallen off since Wayne Graham retired. Bragga couldn't sustain the Graham momentum and Cruz hasn't been much better.

Yep, I went on the last trip at Minute Maid. It was sponsored by Shriner's Hospital and the kids you see on their commercials participated in the game programs. Had a great time and we went 3-0 to boot. I think Gary Henderson was our HC that year. I have to admit Gary was one of the most well spoken coaches I've ever heard. He really represented MSU better than any coach in memory.

We went out there and went 3-0 and everyone thought we had turned the corner….we had not. But it was coming.
