He's a big guy that can shoot, move his feet, and handle the rock fairly well....so yeah, I can see someone taking a chance on him. Had a nice career out of Boston College.

Post was good for BC. Not sure if he sticks on with an NBA team but he had a good career there. Tolu Smith also signed with the Pistons

I'll say this about Howland, the in game coaching had passed him by. But he could identify talent as good as any coach we had up until that point. Q, Carter, Peters, Kegler, Little Spoon, Woodard, Post, Ado, Tolu, Cam, Kugel. And then obviously Newman and Perry, but everyone wanted them.

Howland could recruit, and was an amazing coach back-in-the-day.
He got MSU back to the level we expect, and Jans is taking higher.
Re: Post, his highlight film is impressive. I did not remember him having hops like that.

I agree, Howland loved State also... he didn't want to retire. Like you said he was a great evaluator of talent and could recruit his but off, the game just passed him by. Q, Woodard and Perry were all drafted and all played some in the NBA as well so he did something right.

As far as Jan's coaching, I agree on "D" the past two years and with the guards and forwards he has brought in through the portal along with Hubbard, we will know this year if we can have an exciting, winning offense. Hail State!

Q and Perry are playing in China, Woodard is playing in Greece
