Yes many scammers. They are usually easy to spot, if anyone wants money up front, they're likely a scammer, if they don't have much "local" on their profile, they are likely scammers. Last week i contacted a guy about a dorm type fridge he was selling, he wanted a deposit to hold it cause he was "out of town" at the moment. I did a deeper dive on his profile, it was sketch.

When buying tickets on FB, be very careful, many scammers in those groups.

I use an different FB profile when buying on FB marketplace, that way I'm not putting much out there.

Scammers are pretty easy to pick out as most don't know how to communicate in everyday English on messenger.
I use marketplace daily.

Have had a few scammers try to get info, pretty easy to tell who they are.
Have sold about 3 bikes and lots of gears, no problems.
