Just extremely sad and terrible situation. A lot of people around that Southern Miss program thought he was probably their best DB heading into the fall.

People die everyday for various reasons(health, accident, etc..) but to die this way is so senseless and tragic. These deaths should never happen. I feel so bad for his friends and family and just pray for peace and understanding for them in a situation that's so very hard to make any sense of.

The difficult and impolite question remains: why is this so common?

(By the way, tomorrow is Father's Day. Guaranteed that someone involved in that situation lacked the guidance of an actual, present, participating, tax-paying, family-man father in their lives.)
