If NCSU can beat UGA today the field will be split 4 SEC and 4 ACC.

1) UT
2) UK
3) aTm
4) UNC
8) FSU
12) UVA
7)UGA or 10) NCSU
Florida - may be the most dangerous team in the field right now.

A lot of AD's from other conferences won't be happy.

Florida may steal this thing. They are playing better than anyone in the country right now and have the best player in the country in Caglione on their team. That is a team no one will want to play.

Announcers were bragging at the NC game yesterday that they had a stadium record crowd of 4,495 the game before. VA was bragged on for having about a 6500 record and even TN at 7000 , but will pack in 8000 after their expansion. With the NIL and law suits flying for back pay, this mess may be rough on non-revenue producing sports and Women's athletics. SEC and ACC seem to support baseball but I have been very surprised how small many stadiums are watching these regionals and supers.

Time for the SEC to pull some acc teams over and make a super conference

The thing of it that I don't think very many fans realize is those crowds are more than what you would see at a typical minor league baseball game. Nevermind what MSU, LSU, Arkansas, or Ole Miss would draw. Also smaller school like USM and East Carolina would have had comparable crowds to the teams that played yesterday as well.

I think eventually you are essentially going to see college baseball- namely the SEC and ACC replace low A ball eventually.

And with many teams in the south losing minor league teams or having really low attendance but at the same time having astronomical college baseball attendance my hope is that MLB does something like the MLB prospect league in towns like Jackson, New Orleans, Mobile, Shreveport, Baton Rouge, etc. where you would have bigger name SEC players like Tanner Allen for example play and fans could watch them perform in the summer.
