Down season in the conference my ass

And if they lose, 4 SEC and 4 ACC teams. Would love to see that. Who said SEC was down? SEC was top heavy, not down. Florida cancels out Ark, and State should have hosted and would be in Omaha.

I've said it from the start and the draft will prove it out as well. The sec top to bottom is as talented and deep as it's ever been.

Typical season in the SEC. And my guess is we will see another SEC team win the National Championship again.

The thing that really stands out to me is who the teams are. It's not LSU, Mississippi State, Arkansas.

It's Tennessee, Florida, maybe Georgia, Kentucky, and Texas A&M. Some of those teams are not considered "traditional" blue bloods in the league. Really none of them are if you ask me except for maybe Florida.

Only Florida and Georgia have NC's. So there is a very good chance that you are going to see a school win their first in the SEC.

Either way its going to be all SEC and ACC teams. That's the 2 dominant leagues. I believe we would likely have won any regional not at an ACC site. Would have worked much better for us to have been sent out West this year.

We had a clear shot at a super and blew it.
Could be a post today about 6 teams getting in.

And all from the East sans Aggie.

My least favorite is Florida, never cared for O'Sullivan nor Florida in general, but they are playing good baseball. Georgia is my second least favorite, they got the easiest draw of all the regionals and Supers, but they took advantage. I still think Tn wins it all but I wish Ky would pull the upset. Watching their aggressive play is fun, last night winning run was pass ball and runner scored from second. Pitcher for Oregon State fell asleep at the wheel and didn't cover home plate, Nick saw this and waved the runner home who never slowed up!

And we didn't win a series against any but UGA. Thankfully we missed KY and TN, although we lost to TN in the tourney. Guess the committee got it right after all.

And of the 10 other SEC teams in postseason we played 8 of them. Of the possible CWS teams, we have chance to have played 3 of the 5 during regular season. But, our SEC schedule was weak***

I really hope Kentucky wins. They just seem to have that "it" factor going this year. They only gave up 3 hits in the Super Regional - that's some hot pitching.

I could see A&M going out early without Montgomery. FL is who I wouldn't want to play too. TN might get hurt by the stadium. KY is the wild card that just wins. UGA simply got an easy route and they'll get handled IMO if they make it.

a number of our posters here when we talked about our Dawgs finishing Top 5 in the SEC this year

Well, Georgia isn't in yet. I can easily see NC State knocking them out today.

I hope so, not a fan of Wes Johnson.

Georgia has the homefield advantage no doubt. Ball flies out of that park also, I have no clue bout NC State.

I still remember our series there in 2022. We hit like 7 or 8 HRs that weekend. Cumbest hit one that may still be going.

Was OOC schedule that was very weak and cost us when we lost some of theses mid-week games we shouldn't, RPI wise.

There have been multiple posters here claiming our 17 SEC weren't legit because we didn't play Tennessee and Kentucky and that LSU, Florida, and Georgia all really sucked.
