I love track, I coached it 5 of my 6 years in high school (won 3 state titles), Ran track in high school and we won State-my senior and 2 Big Eight Championships. At my high school we couldn?t play but one spring sport, I wanted to ball baseball but no go.
Anyway, the Ole Miss girl McKenzie Long is very special. She won 100m 10.87 & 200m in 21.89.

Being an elder runner, I love it as well. It is truly the most original sport begining with the olympics. It's more particapatory then spectator. Excuse typos been drinking a little beer on this day. I split my meager NIL to State between football and track and field.

Been up in Eugene all 4 days to watch in person for my first time. Great experience.

Long for OM is something else, she also ran a leg in their 4x100 team that won first. She?ll probably have some Olympic hardware this summer.

Peyton Blair represented MSU well in the decathlon. Would?ve won if he didn?t happen to be competing against an all world athlete from Texas. The Texas guy set a new collegiate decathlon record for points and finished just shy of 9000 points.

Arkansas women 4x4 was incredible. They won that race by a mile and all 4 girls also ran the 400 and finished 1,2,3,4.

Parker Valby from Florida is in her own world when it comes to distance running.

Eugene is a cool city, simple city. Would highly recommend anyone to make the trip is their thinking about it.

I watched what you posted. The guy from Texas was incredible. But all you mentioned where. Parker Valby made it look to easy, she didn’t talk or look tired when they interviewed her. The 4 girls from Arkansas in the 4x400 all ran between 48 to 50 seconds.

Long will get some medals I believe.
