NCAA Baseball treated fans well on Friday. The action-packed opening day of the NCAA Tournament included six walk-off wins, the most since the tournament expanded in 1999. Clemson, UNC, UC Irvine, Mississippi State, LSU & South Carolina each won their respective games with a walk-off hit.

Gotta love regional play! It's the real season, can't imagine anything more exciting than a walk off homer in regional games.

Yea, college baseball won't grow because it gets no exposure. We get women's basketball and even women's softball all the time but college baseball is hard to find. Gets less now than it used to before they started promoting women's sports.

The season needs to start one month later. Conference games should start after the final four and the CSW should be in late July. Starting later would give the Big 10 a chance to build a following. February in MS can be brutal, imagine attending a game in Ann Arbor. Getting the Big 10 involved would certainly grow the game.
