If we can take care of tonight I really like our chances against UVA. They didn't really impress me very much. Their "juggernaut" offense manages just 6 hits against Penn. I like Cjintje against them. The only time they have seen upper 90s this year was Chase Burns. He had 13 Ks in just 7 innings.

We have one of the best #2's in the country. I have no qualms with starting Khal. If we were at home I might disagree but with a road regional you have to make sure you stay in the winner's bracket as long as possible.

I think it has become the common strategy in game ones if you are the host of the regional. It's sound as long as the four seed in the regional isn't Air Force with Paul Skenes.

UGA as a 7 overall was lol to me. This committee was the worst committee in at least 5 years.

Don't make fun, people giving the SEC their best shot in game-1 is common.

MSU won the Hattiesburg regional in 2017, but lost game-1 to South Alabama. That was a painful but victorious regional for MSU.

No not ridiculous at all. Y'all need to watch some other teams play besides us and the sec. The sec is head and shoulders above any other conference and it's not really close. It's day 1, you'll see when we have 6 or so teams in supers and 3-4 in omaha.

Seems like every year folks start saying the league is down but there's just to much talent in the league and it shows in postseason against the other conferences every single year. I never buy into the "league is down" stuff because it's said every year and every year it turns out wrong lol.

It's so balanced too I don't think we will ever really see a true dynasty like LSU in the 1990's again. Almost every team in the SEC has a National Championship in baseball. And two of those that don't it seems like a matter of time in Arkansas and Tennessee.

I am a big believer in strength and conditioning for baseball. We can get the best guys out there but Cohen and Lemonis don't have the best knowledge of who the best is.

We had an elite S&C guy in 2021 and he left for Virginia Tech.
