When do they announce official host sites? I know the brackets are announced tomorrow, but I was told that the sites are announced today. Is that right??

You're welcome. KO dawg was right about the host sites, they announce those tonight. I was just thinking about the selection show and the seeding that will be tomorrow at 11am. So we'll know if we host tonight. Looks like we will right now. Crossed fingers!

You're right. I'm getting old and I'm still thinking about the selection show tomorrow. Old age is killing me lol!

U don’t know old yet, LOL. But I did ride my bike yesterday, rode the marathon distance of 26.2 miles. I think I may have medaled with my time. LOL. Much easier on the body tha running, I quit running bout your age.

I thought I was older than you, lol. I'm 59. Yeah I'm biking now too. I can't run anymore since the wreck last year. Knee and ankle can't take that pounding anymore.

Been riding about 10 years now. I was told I would need Knee replacement a little over 10 years ago. I’ve had two knee operations from football, I use to have my knee drained and get the “rooster shot”. Since I been riding no shots or knee drained, amazing, doctor gave me good advice to ride or swim. Btw 24, bikes make a huge difference

I hear ya! I tore up my left knee in high school and my right one in the wreck last year. I've had the ol' drain done a few times myself lol! Just can't run anymore which kinda sucks but the biking is cool and lot less impact.

Where I live in Tennessee, biking is way worse for you than running. Sure, you may replace a knee, but my news feed tells me about bikers being hit and killed almost daily! Lol
And it's the most biker friendly place I've ever seen. Bike paths on the sides of every damn road it seems like. Just too many people.
I'll stick to my hiking and walking 5 miles at a time.

I'll make you feel better CC - I thought we were closer in age but I'm only 51 LOL. Biking and swimming are the way to go. I started having knee problems at 13. At 26 my orthopedic surgeon that Id been to since I was 13 said "if you don't stop playing ball like an idiot I'll be replacing your knees by 30." I hate jogging, so bikes and pools are for me.

Bottom line, stay as active as you can for as long as you can. I bike as running at 73 is out of consideration due to knees. Medically speaking there is a development of good fluid in the knee from biking.

Yep. Have picked up trail running again in the last year. Will keep pushing farther and farther to try and find my limits.
50 miles sub 21 hours last month, where the trail turned into an absolute mudfest . Will be doing a lot more training this summer till my 100 mile race mid November.
I'm not fast but I won't quit.

73 is the new 63. LOL. My friends can't believe I can ride 25-35 miles. Takes time to build up but Bikes make a huge difference.

I live off of Blackjack in Starkville. Its dangerous enough to drive on that road. I'm not about to hop on a bike and ride it. I really need to hit Powerball or have one of my stocks pull a 2021 Game Stop so I can retire to the Caribbean and swim/snorkel 4hrs a day then walk 18 holes of golf.

My shoulders are almost as bad as my knees lol. To much ball growing and back then if you got hurt you didn't say anything you just kept playing with really no treatment. You didn't realize at that age the cumulative effect it would have in your later years. Add to all that 20+ years of coaching and throwing hundreds of pitches everyday for bp and my shoulders are as bad as my knees lol! Old age ain't for sissy's that's for sure !

I can second this. It's excellent excercise without the high impact.

Easr Carolina purposely canceled a low RPI game toward the end of the year after being told not to by the NCAA and got run ruled twice in their own conference tourney and is still hosting. With all our Q4 losses we likely would have needed 19 conference wins in the regular season to have had a chance to host. I will say I don't have a clue how Arizona got to host.

You a young one. Because of a parachute accident and wear and tear from my army days my jogging days are over as are my stairmaster days. I do a recumbent for 75 = 90 mins 2-4 time a week. No wear and tear at all on the body.
