Right?
He had to sit a game.
So our 2 of 3 at Vandy involved not going against the guy.

Bama - had food poisoning and moved their shortstop to centerfield in game 2.

We caught LSU early in the season

Auburn - It took Hines saving us in one game in the 9th, and then the other game was close also.

Ole Miss in the tournament, bottom of 9th HR.

Arkansas - 9th inning win.

Just saying, that thin of a line that our coach stays, and we see some talking "Omaha".
Baseball, I guess.

These things go both ways

Florida - beat us in the 9th twice

How many of our SEC opponents had to face Nate Dohm?

Hujsak missed two series

Georgia beat us because guys like Khal Stephen has to bat and play in the field

I don’t really think almost losses matter. It’s like almost buying Nividia stock last year. It didn’t happen.

Not mad at all.
Pointing out it is such a thin line this year where he is either fired, or regional and Omaha talk.

That’s pretty much all sports teams

Flip that argument as well, how many games did we lose the lead in the 9th. Using your logic it would not be hard to see us with 23 wins minimum as well. This and your reasoning is why baseball is the greatest team sport out there. Always has been and will always be. Anybody can beat anybody on any given day.

I was making the point that we faced teams not at their best.
Food poisoning, a starting weekend pitcher suspended, facing LSU before they figured things out.
And we did not have to face TN, Kentucky, or South Carolina in the east. We instead lost 2 of 3 to a Florida team in a down year.

We did win and lose some in the last innings. I was talking about how we barely beat the worst teams by last or late inning heroics.

Its baseball, and a thin line, but we were gifted every favorable opportunity this SEC cycle, other than Georgia.
Now we are in post season, and its going to be a fun ride.

These things even out. We got good breaks and bad breaks and made some of our own. You usually are what your record says you are.
