MLB is going to move to it soon. Softball uses it some. I mean, the running lane is in foul territory, so it only makes sense. Technically, every runner has to step inside the running lane to reach the base, which is technically against the rules.

Honestly it?s about time. Nothing like getting called out on a bunt or dropped strike 3 because you ran inside the running lane to touch 1st. Doesn?t make sense at all

I’m a traditionalist. I agree with Captain get ready for long games on reviews. And we all know how Birmingham loves to screw us on replays.

There's nothing to cause more reviews, that's a bad take. You'd get more reviews running inside the line. No excuses or judgment calls with a double bag.

This. I coached a ton of tournaments where they were used and it's actually easier for the runner and the 1b and much safer especially if a pitcher has to cover on a close play.
