Rain looks to be arriving about 4:00 or so - I would almost prefer we play the doubleheader tomorrow (of 7 innings each) than have the players and pitchers dodge rain all night.

I didn't realize Lee was back. Lee and Pittman are two solid backs to build around at RB.

I know it is spring but I like what I see so far. I think we have some playmakers. This year feels like 2009. I think we find a way to go 6-6 and then build from there.

Didn’t show much other than base stuff, offense should be proficient, threw it and caught it well today against bland defenses. Concerned on defense got beat to much today. 6 wins and a trip to Bham would be a nice year 1 for this bunch.

Just back from the game. Didn't stay for baseball because I think its going to rain.
1. Loved the format! 1's and 2's on O against 1's and 2's on D. That way you can mix and match on both sides of the ball using all players like you would in a real game.
2. Loved the tempo! After every play you could hear people on the maroon sidelines yelling to get up and go. On running plays, several times you would see the wideouts already lined up and ready to go again before the ball carrier even got up off of the ground.
3. Don't know if they showed this on tv but during a lot of the stoppages, Bart and Charlie would interview current and former NFL players from MSU on the jumbotron and they would talk about their time at State. Absolutely brilliant idea with all of the recruits and transfer portal players in attendance! No dumb-ass hotdog eating contest here!

Not much else to say that hasn't already been said. Overall, VERY pleased.

Yeah as spring games go I would give it an A. Lebby and staff are very organized and there's no wasted time.

I think Cross is a professional and does a good job doing play by play. I can overlook he's a rebel. He doesn't let it show when he does games for sec net or ESPN.

Yeah it's a credit to him that he doesn't let his rebel side come out on air. He's actually one of the better local play by play guys but I like Charlie and Bart better!

But I still haven?t forgiven him for heckling Mullin on the radio during his radio talk show with Matt Wyatt Head to Head. When Mullin was first hired he repeatedly said that he had come to State to win championships. Matt had taken the day off and Cross was doing a phone interview with Mullin. In a heckling tone of voice Cross multiple times asked Mullin what or which championships had Mullin come to State to win. I so badly wanted to reach thru the radio and punch that prick in the throat.
