By USA Today. That's much needed publicity for Starkville and hopefully it will help change the "Starkville sucks" narrative from fans that live in Oxford, Tuscaloosa, and Auburn.

Actually they named it the best small town in the South. But deservedly so and I'll take that.

I think you better check again. On the MSN front page they say OXFORD is the best small TOWN.
