Even before the couple of rainouts already, there was only ONE scheduled TV game on ESPN. They used to have like 3 or 4 back to back on opening day. Has it really gone downhill that fast?

In other news, STOP starting the season with home games in the northeast. The Braves have played opening day series in Philly 3 out of the last 6 years. In 2 other seasons they started in New York and Washington.

Mlb is the worst at marketing their sport.

Also let's blackout half the country even though you pay for MLB.tv. It is honestly like they don't want new fans.

Lots of state players, but doubt they do much this season

Did Jake make an opening day roster or back to AAA? How many former State guys made it?

Jake Mangum is with the Tampa Bay Rays. He was one of the last cut. He is starting in AAA. He actually lead the team in batting avg for Spring Training.

I remember when the lookouts came to Biloxi and watched him run the bases. He was the closest thing to a Gazelle there could be. He just glided around the bases.

Has Acuna like talent. He can run like that and hit 450 ft homers.

Maybe power and speed. He strikes out waaayyy more than Acuna. Cruz K'd at 30% in milb; Acuna's top k number was 29.7% his 2nd mlb season.

How I miss turning on the TV or radio and hearing "Hello everyone, this is Skip Caray along with The Professor Pete Van Wieren, here at Atlanta -Fulton County Stadium, as the Braves take on the Los Angeles Dodgers....."

Yeah, Acuna is a generational talent. We will see if Cruz lives up to the hype.
