As a High School Senior at Evangel Christian in 2019 he was the State's #1 ranked Shortstop and was selected to the 2019 Under Armour All-America Game in Chicago.

So our former backup QB who transferred to Baylor was a stud Baseball player in high school in Lubbock and the QB who transferred to us from Baylor was a stud Baseball player. Makes you wonder how things would be if they took a different path with their original teams.

Another interesting tidbit, OM’s staff under Freeze was extremely high on him and really wanted him out of HS. Say what you want about Freeze, but if he wanted him then he knew he could develop him into putting up stupid numbers.
