I realize that they beat their chest but then immediately swing out of their cleats at a dirt pitch trying to crank it 400 ft. I realize that I only played high school but we were taught to maybe choke up a little and just defend the plate. Foul off a pitch if it is close to the zone.
We have zero players that do that now.
