Because they have 4 players at all times in the floor who can really dribble the ball in traffic and create their own shots. Add 36% average from 3 points on 27 3 point shots per game and that is deadly against a team that cannot stay in front of their man. The have had 2 layups in first half that looked like pre-game warmups because State parted the middle and left them one on one. Their 7 footers can't shoot from farther than 8 feet. No need for our post players to ever leave the middle in front of the goal against Ole Miss. But they do. 🤷🏼🤷🏼🤷🏼

My bff and I talked about this the other day. We?re 61 years old and have gone to game after game after game, every sport, for a long time. It?s brutal.

I?m glad we had Mullen and Dak. John Bond and some guys gave us some good games. Jackie took us to an SEC championship game. We made a final four in basketball. We got our natty in baseball. But more often than not, it?s just brutal.

I?d be remiss if I didn?t mention lady basketball. Two years in the championship game. Who would have guessed?!

Great job by the Bulldogs. Gotta give a lot of credit to Dashawn Davis. He lost his starting job but he stayed with it and has had some big moments in this winning streak. His defense was phenomenal tonight and he's a great assist guy.

Keyshawn Murphy, Shak and Rams were all really good for us this game. Tolu had 24 but he had alot of bad plays mixed in there.. its good to see us beat a good team with Tolu and Hubbard not necessarily leading the way.

Rams defense was massive tonight and even though his FT shooting is AWFUL, Tolu having 24 on a night where Hubbard struggled really carried us. Also getting 9 from DJ and 12 from Keyshawn were just as big.

LSU could actually make a run to move into the NCAA field. If they beat us, they would get to 7-7 with the last 4 against teams with losing records. At 11-7 and presumably an improving NET, they'd probably be in.

Man don't try to come at me ever about being a Tolu hater, I talk alot of basketball on this board and you will never see me say anything negative about him. I was one of the main guys taking up for him when alot of non basketball guys wanted Jimmy Bell over him... that being said Tolu missed alot of free throws tonight, had a team leading 4 turnovers and only 6 rebounds which he can do more...

He definitely gave us much needed scoring but it just wasn't his best all around game tonight and that's ok I don't expect that nightly. You are coming at the wrong guy when it comes to Tolu

I really think his strategy for the game was to foul Tolu and Cam and it blew up on him in the first half when both of them shot FTs well and actually helped as Tolu started missing. His whining is to cover that his strategy ultimately did not work so he blames the refs.

I like your post and insight usually., but you did rag on Tolu--he isn;t superman. When he touches they ball alot -he is going to have some turnovers. there are several post dissing Tolu--damn if not for Tolu we wouldn't have won. Now the player that should do more is Hub. Thankfully-Rams and Shak picked up their game. but They are experienced guys, Hub is a rookie. two of Tolu TOs were because they fouled Him. nobody is coming at you-
