Just matters if you win or not, not really how. What a difference it would make for the men if they had an OT win against Southern rather than a 1 point loss.

Considering Jordan and Park-Lane had their worst game of the season, Powe stepped up late. Carter had a really good game numbers wise with 25 and 14, but she was stuck at 22 points for the last 6 min of qtr. 3 and the first 8.5 minutes of the 4th. Until she made a cripple under the basket and added the free throw.
But until Park-Lane missed the last 2 free throws but got her own miss, the team was 17-19 from the line. Her misses made it 17-21 but still a good night shooting freebies. Glad those last 2 misses didn't cost us.

A very successful week so far. A win at A&M Sunday would be huge cake icing!

You are probably right, I just hate that mentality.... schools like UCONN, Tennessee, South Carolina etc have established national powerhouse programs with women's basketball, we were heading that direction for a few years then we lost Vic but why not continue to support Purcell and the program like we did before because Purcell is a young coach who is still learning but one thing we know he can do is recruit, looks like his coaching isn't too far behind, I could see him establishing something here

The ending to that game is not something us MSU fans are used to....usually it's the other way around. I am glad to see these girls have the toughness in them to not give up and make the big shots when they need to!
