Wait. I was told that he was 10x better than Milroe & was going to replace him at Bama? You mean they were wrong?

Btw Will to Bama was NEVER going to happen. Deboar would have been fired in year one if Will had been the starter at Bama next year.

Its hilarious that Will went to Washington and Friend went to WKU

Did they both go to where they got the most ca$h?

I doubt anyone thought he would start at Bama, but backups and senior leadership are always needed.

Do we even know if there's a strong possibility of him starting at Washington?

Some Washington fans posting he had no where else to go.

Most likely.

Yes, I think I read where one writer said about Will, "The musical chairs music had stopped and there were no chairs left".

Are there any other true AR offenses left?

Not that I'm aware of. The pure air raid passed with Coach Leach, unless Hal Mumme is out there coaching somewhere that I'm not aware of.

I'm sure timing was an issue. I imagine if he doesn't like what he sees (or Fisch doesn't like what he sees) he'll jump back in when the musical chairs game starts again after spring and he'll have a lot more options.

But "will" he?

Exactly. Usually after spring ball the QB's transferring are the ones that lost the QB battle

Yeah, there will be a lot of teams that get through spring and realize they aren't comfortable with their QB situation. Might or might not be a better fit for him, but he would have options. Auburn immediately comes to mind as one.

Auburn? They have Thorn and dual threat high 4-star Walker White. Why he go be 3rd string there?

Will is trying to stay P5. If it doesn’t work out at Washington he can drop down to G5 and have plenty of suitors. Regardless of what we think about him, there would be tons of G5 programs that would kill to have a 4 year starting SEC QB.

Will Rogers in Hugh Freezes offense would be akin to accessory to murder. Worst combination of all time.

From what I've seen, the successful QBs in Freeze's offense can run, move in the pocket, takes chances and flings it downfield. That's not Will in fact the opposite of his game, he surveys the situation, works through progressions, protects the ball and usually ends up completing a short gainer.
