They inherited it from the Big East, which rarely deserved an autobid in its 14 years of being an AQ conference.

Very true, and I'm not about to suggest the AAC deserves an auto bid. Louisville the only school left with a BCS win. My comment was in response to QK, who said the league "rarely" deserved its bid, which was true toward the end but not the whole time.


BTW, you want to talk about embarrassing? ACC is 3-13.

So long as everybody gets a trophy, group hug and self-affirmation MP3 we all win! Never mind conferences that pay for major infrastructure and deal with conference slates that would crush these piss ants. Nope award the hurt feelings brigade with a slot in the big dance.
