Physicality vs Finesse

Gimme Michigan for the win. Texas wouldn?t keep RTGDF and lost. Michigan won?t make the same mistake

Nope. Pennix gets rid of the ball too fast. It will neutralize Michigans front seven. And they have not seen an offense like this all year. Michigan wont be able to keep up

Washington is not as finesse as people assume just because they pass the ball well. Maybe Michigan controls the pace, but I don't think there's anyone on Michigan that can hold Odunze's jock if Penix gets any time at all

I hate Harbaugh and I hope Washington wins but I don't see it. Michigan is just too physical at the point of attack.

Pennix can sling it, but just like Milroe found out - he won't have much time.

Michigan controls the line of scrimmage and rolls tonight.

Defense wins championships. It always has and always will.

Texas averaged 6.4 per carry and wouldnt stick with it. Thats why they lost. Michigan wont make that mistake

Ha, my coments have nothing to do with a preference unless you like winning but history says the team that has best LOS play wins championships 9 times out of 10. Could a great O win every once in a while, yeah but not what the odds and history says.

Your view is letting your narrative get in the way of facts. Remind me again how many times a top O (OU for example) and how many NC were won?

Don't be so sure. I've seen the great Saban make that same mistake many times. It's mind boggling.

As the resident Michigan fan, I will say that I have watched every game this season. They are very physical in the trenches with our DL being the best of the bunch. Backside might be questionable, but they have done enough. I'm not going to say anything about tonight because Washington is a good team. It will be tough, but I'm hoping Michigan wins.

And MICH has a sneaky RB that can hide behind them Linemen then make a long gainer. He reminds me of McCaffrey.

Hi Coach34; I would like to have you look at the complete schedules and results for Michigan and Washington. I personally believe that Washington played a profoundly tougher schedule than Michigan. I guess most could be considered tough when they schedule teams that are weak? Your thoughts?

Every metric, stat, etc. tell me that Michigan wins this game. But there is just something about this Washington team. The last 6 games have all been one score games. Washington is 6-0. I feel like they are going to make it 7-0 tonight. Give me the Huskies and Penix. Another good game tonight could elevate him into the number 1 pick conversation.

I have Dish, which means that the signal is lost in any rain heavier than light. And heavier rain is about to move in.

Just checked ESPN streaming using Roku, and they have several options for the game but none of them is the "traditional" broadcast. Might have to put up with one of the alternates when the rain comes in.

Coach- we are watching what I expected to happen. I lost my mind last week when Sark kept throwing the ball. Pac-12 D's are soft as baby shit.

With Rogers at QB and their soft D- I'll be betting the under on their win total for 2024

Penix overthrew 3 potential TDs. Game should've been closer when UW basically shut UM down in the 2nd and 3rd quarters.

It was still a game until that INT. Better than watching 65-7 which is what it looked like it was gonna be.

LOL ... you funny. 2018 was our shot. And we shot our wad there.

Not much hope for MSU especially now with conference expansion but Bama and UGA ain't going anywhere regardless. We can't load up enough on both lines to beat them. And we damn sure ain't gonna run the ball down their throats. And then there's TN & Mizzou (who I think has a shot as a non-blueblood school ... great situation there with Drinkwitz, their NIL, and their recruiting footprint). And now SEC adds Ok & TX (and Sark is a good coach).

I like UDub's coach tho. We'll see what he can do in the Big 10 now.

He was throwing everything side-armed last night. Sometimes, he had to because of the rush. Other times, he didn't need to, but still did. I didn't see him doing that the other 3 times I watched him play. Or at least I didn't notice it.

Like I said, very good college player, but the competition showed a different guy standing in the pocket, he looked nervous and somewhat unsure.
