It's the one two punch of Poole and Alexander that kills us. You put them side by side in the lineup and it really kills you.

exactly, it's like we only give ourselves 4 opportunities of competitive offensive innings before the 1st pitch. we have runners on the bases 1st three innings and we score 1 on a solo.

As I said- no reason for Belmont or Poole to start. There has to be some other underlying reason. But Poole > Belmont right now

Or what would be more sickening (IMO) would be us taking 2 from LSU and U.K. taking two from UF and our bed shitting last weekend screwing us in the ass.

so here we are with 12 offensive outs left in the game and LA & Poole have accounted for 4 outs on 12 pitches and will, at a minimum, reduce out outs to 10 with them. At what point do you replace them and give yourself a shot at scoring? Otherwise, we have one legit shot at scoring again in the 8th when the lineup turns.

If UK ends up winning tonight vs Faedo, they could sweep with their O. that UK O feeds off each one another.
