Bama guy claiming huge news coming and Freeze may not make it to Media Days
Have you guys not heard any of that? I'll admit, I'm highly suspicious and doubt this to be the case, but what a great way to round out the week if news drops and he doesn't make it to Hoover or he has to squirm through real questions the entire time!

I read some tweets from him. Says it will be very embarrassing.

I don't see how it'll be huge news, but there is a story allegedly about to break. Considering the rumored-to-be main source of the story, I'm not sure how it would be the final nail in the Hugh freeze coffin. However, nothing would shock me with that crew up north at this point.
-
Brandon Walker also hinted at major news dropping today or tomorrow that could affect Freeze.
We've a ton about Nutts lawsuit, but I'm not sure why that would keep Freeze from attending SEC Media Days.
Makes me wonder if it's something else.
If you were trying to throw Ole Miss off at media days, would you release the information today or tomorrow morning?

If you're really trying to F them, you do it about 30 minutes before Freeze appears. If you want maximum exposure for your news outlet (page views, etc) then you drop it today around 2p.

I agree. As soon as SEC media days closes today, you drop it.

This guy says Thursday or Friday. Who knows.

Also said it would be released after Ole Miss finishes their time at the podium. But, gave an out saying effectively "assuming the backer doesn't back out." So we'll see, I guess...

This originated from a post on a BAMA board last night. Don't think it amounts to much imo. Wouldn't be the first time I was wrong if it turns out to be something, but I seriously doubt it.

Remind me what Dubose was doing. Was it the secretary?

Yes, but more importantly, he was busy pissing away a ginormous amount of (expensive) talent to go 24-23....

FWIW, I'm skeptical of these things, but there seem to be a lot of different sources corroborating that major news will drop.
I also doubt, if this news is real, that it is related to penalties (twitter goose says it isn't) or to the Nutt lawsuit. Penalties aren't even really major news for Hugh at this point, and the Nutt case has more to do with their foundation than Hugh.
In short: Hugh is 17'd, 18'd, 19'd, and 39'd.
