He's going deeper than he has before yes, and like I say a lot of that is on our inability to take a strike or stretch an at bat. But regardless, he's still really good. If we struggle against the next 2 starters and whoever Sandlin's reliever is, then I'll agree this lineup is flawed.

One thing to take into account is that Cann gets his guys jacked... Opening day, ranked opponent, months prepping and being very excited... these are ingredients for a team to be a little too eager to play. Baseball requires a certain level of relaxation from both pitchers and hitters. I honestly think a lot of our problems today are going to go away with a few games.

Either way though, it's ONE GAME! We have seen only 2-3 ABs from these kids; Brent freaking Rooker had 3 straight at bats that looked terrible last year. Give it time to judge, and trust that Cann will figure the big flaws out
