Apparently you don't have to leave the dugout because most of our players thrown out were already on the field and just got near home.

The rule is you can't leave your position. That kind of makes sense if there's 1 out. But there were 3. Hines, for example was right there just bc he was headed to the dugout. Kohler was working down there to backup the play.

Jordan did run in from RF but Lemonis caught him before he got too close. Just a misinterpretation of a questionable rule. Awful job by Jeff Head, the crew, and Birmingham with a shout out to Johnson for the review.

That makes ZERO sense when you are running to leave the field after the 3rd out.
