The 18th annual Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic will be held from March 2-4, 2018.
The three-day six-team, nine-game tournament, which is held at Minute Maid Park every spring, will feature University of Houston, Sam Houston State, and Louisiana-Lafayette. Also, there are three from the SEC which include Mississippi State, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt.
Below is a link to a list of events that MSU Alumni and Fans in the Houston area or traveling in for the Classic can take part in, as well as Ticket information:

Great to hear. I’d like to see a major recruiting effort from MSU in that area, both in students and athletes.
I really wish JAN or GTR could land some non-stop flights out there again.

It killed me when SW Airlines left Jackson. The first 15 years I lived in Houston, I could fly to Jackson in less than an hour for less than a hundred each way. Now, forgetaboutit.

Carl Newman is working hard to make that sort of thing happen again. If anybody can make it happen, it's him.
