Ole Miss has been using players for years and then kicking them to the curb after they take advantage of them.

Here's my thing about it:

College football should be ultimately about two things.

1) Helping players develop into good citizens by giving them an opportunity to get an education by using their God given talents.

2) At the SEC level- developing players to where they can maximize having a chance to play in the NFL. I know a lot of people would disagree with me here, but helping players get to the NFL is a reality of SEC football.

Ole Miss does not care about either one. All they care about are how many yellow stars are by your name and what can you do for them for four years. And Heaven help you if you don't pan out because they will throw you to the street and into the trash can in an instant. They have played players that were injured- like Tony Connor or tried to in the case of Patterson before his Dad stepped in. Basically they are everything that is wrong about college football that you could ever think of.
