I'm super excited for this game tonight, so I'm starting this thread early so we can go ahead and discuss the game. Let's take Game 1!

Vansau is hitting .202; Hatcher is .261. But in conference play, Hatcher is hitting .183 with 71 AB's and Vansau is hitting .154 with 39 AB's. So I don't have a problem with Vansau against the UK righty. Vansau went 1-4 against Troy but he hit another ball really hard. Only other options would be Westburg or Jordan Anderson and just go righty vs righty. Hopefully, Vansau will take advantage of this opportunity.

I'd swap him and MacNamee, but stats show your batting order has little effect on run production. It's more about who is in your lineup than where they actually bat.

Vansaus at bats lately have been much better. He's going to throw up a two hit game soon

I agree. Let's hope it's tonight. He had such a great summer. Maybe he just needs to be penciled in the lineup the rest of the way.
