After each infractions case, there should be a conference call where the chairman of the COI has to answer questions that pertain to precedent, guidlines, etc.
I would be fascinated to hear the reasoning of how the COI dodged the penalty matrix & gave OM less than 1 schollie reduction per level 1 violation. I want to know their reasons, methods, & how the decisions they made in this case will effect future cases.
Can future schools expect less than 1 schollie reduction per level 1 violation?
What is the precedent that has been set here?
The OM fans kept calling the NCAA a kangaroo court but in many ways it is due to the lack of transparency, accountability, and consistency of the COI
If OM had dirt on the NCAA persons and threatened them with something that could PERSONALLY hurt them, do you think that the NCAA would act in it's best interest. Both OM and the NCAA are questionable and both had power to injure each other? Maybe mutual aided destruction? Maybe ethics and justice come second to self preservation?

Ole Miss does not have the power to take down the NCAA. If they did I guarantee you their investigation would have gone a lot quicker.

no they can't take down the NCAA but they can get private investigators to find dirt on committee members - they are a bunch of lawyers after all .....
ok, so I just put that out there for the lurkers up north but no one can deny it's plausible ... because there just isn't any understanding for the leniency
OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Ole Miss campus police ask students to behave at future baseball games following a recent incident.
The university said students were reportedly throwing rocks at Georgia baseball players during last weekend's series.

I specifically implied that OM had PERSONAL dirt on NCAA members and probably had a plan to ONE by ONE cause unbearable pain on members ONE by ONE, thus OM had a credible threat to the NCAA by singling out specific members ONE by ONE. Examples could be exposure of tax and marital issues which could cause PERSONAL pain ONE by ONE. IF you were threatened with the IRS or divorce attorneys, would you not accommodate the threat? I personally believe that Johnny Manzel's family could have further educated OM on handling the NCAA. Remember Manzel has blood relatives in organized crime. That is probably why he got away lightly with the paid autographs right under the NCAA's nose.
