That's what I was thinking. That was a slow rolling ball that should have been an easy play for the shortstop. Should have ended that inning 1-1. Terrible positioning by Gridley.

Once again Poole and Alexander are auto outs. They can't hit worth shit. Macnamee and Bragg are our only options to plug up those holes. But we keep playing Alexander and Poole. Two thirds of those outs last inning were Alexander and Poole.

I just dont get it either. Poole doesn't even compete and its like he's allergic to the bases. McNamee hit two balls out of the park last weekend and he's benched. Poole sucks as a defender too.

It's the one two punch of Poole and Alexander that kills us. You put them side by side in the lineup and it really kills you.

As I said- no reason for Belmont or Poole to start. There has to be some other underlying reason. But Poole > Belmont right now
