Jaylon Reed has officially decommitted. That puts us at 24 commits with McPherson likely to flip to UF. Nero didn't take care of business in the classroom so you have to wonder if we still sign him. Reading the tea leaves, I think there is 1 more who we "process". Then we have 2 who likely won't qualify. That takes us down to 19. So we have plenty of room for Whop, Harris, Carvin and maybe a couple of more. We have 20 open spots under 85, but that will likely move to 25 after spring ball.

So what other cb are we gonna get to replace reed with? He had lots of offers including one from UGA. This is a position we are thin in.

Ari mentioned in another thread that DJ wrote a flip article and mentioned Whop. And just like clockwork I had a bear just text me and say that they are getting Whop and Corionne...it’s funny and shameful how their so-called inside guys are feeding them BS and they eat it up like Christmas dinner

We only have 1 true corner committed in Bishop and he is a likely redshirt. Furdge is a commit for now, but he was a Buckley guy. No immediate help coming in for our biggest or at least 2nd biggest position of need.

What I don’t understand about Bishop is, what about the Chad Morris hire turned him towards Arkansas? Odd

From ark. I would guess we probably did not retain his primary recruiter either

I’ve heard that Bishop was more of a safety

Where'd you hear that? I've heard corner all the way and Tbuck was his primary.

FWIW, Bishop is an 83 rated player on 247. He was literally bringing our recruiting average down and Bert’s staff didn’t chase him hard.
He may be great but people have a bad habit of blowing their own commits out of proportion
