I don't mind signing the OL because you never can tell how they develop once they get in the training program. We also have to have the bodies at least for the scout team.
Yeah just look at Beckwith, Dillon Day, Elgton was a last minute guy, Senior wasn't highly rated, I know there's some others as well. OL are harder to evaluate than QB's. We have had as many 4 star OL busts as we have had lowly rated guys become very good players. That's why I like the fact we went ahead and signed these guys. You just never know with OL and even if they don't become all SEC they give us depth, they can play scout team and special teams.

I know a guy who was a 5* OG out of the State of South Carolina and signed with Clemson. He never started and he said that there were three star guys who did start in front of him.
This was several years ago.

Didn't we flip Dillon Day from ULL (or maybe LT) on signing day with a late offer? Was thinking about that given the Kam Jones situation.

It was La Tech, he's from W. Monroe where I live.

I'd be interested to know that as well. Everything I've ever heard or read about them is that what you see is what you get and that they are indeed genuine.
