They don't want to fire freeze because of the buyout. Let him get a sc and he is gone with no buyout.
They don't want to fire him bc they are all in and think they can get off with not much more than their proposed penalities. If Freeze gets a SC, they are likely going through with the institutions monitor piece as well. If that happens, and I don't see why it's not at the point, Freeze's buyout is going to be chump change compared to the forfeited revenue share these guys are looking at.
