Agreed. We might have 100 fans there
Our AD couldn?t do anything about this. The sec could have though

Why does South Carolina get a better bowl? They are a garbage team

We might have gotten a better bowl if Moorhead had agreed to coach.

I absolutely don’t understand this either. South Carolina sucks.
I get that our QB is injured and the coaching situation, but it doesn’t make any sense.
Huge fail from the athletic department here. South Carolina in no way deserved that bowl us.
Sorry Cohen, great job with the coaching search but this is a huge failure of MSU’s athletic department not fighting for the respect it deserves.

He actually improved some as the season went on.

Some of you don't seem to understand that there was absolutely no way for Moorhead to get here, implement a staff, implement a scheme, teach a scheme in limited practices and have good results. I don't know why this is so hard to comprehend. The players have been in a system all year long. Can't undo that in a few bowl practices and film studies. Come on
-
If we had Fitz even with all the coaching turmoil I'd think we'd win simply because of Sirmon, but with an inexperienced QB and no real offensive coach, I don't like the matchup. I think we'll score because, well Sirmon, but that is a terrible matchup for our D with no DC.

Like 34 said, we could use our old plays. Moorhead could learn our plays quicker than the team could learn his. Maybe throw a JM wrinkle or two
I?m still not convinced that JM doesn?t end up coaching the bowl
-
Maybe he wasn't asked to coach the game.

Agree.
Not only did Mississippi State embarrass LSU on this night. Davis Wade Stadium wrecked Tiger Stadium in music choice, atmosphere and, most of all, volume.
When I'm 80 and deaf, it's not going to be all those Springsteen concerts or Queen at Municipal Auditorium in New Orleans on Halloween Night in 1978, it will be this game...............Glen Guilbeau--Sherveport Times

3rd time in 6 years. Not a good pick by them or for us. I wanted to go to a bowl to support the team but not this. Sorry guys.
